The connector we got tired of rewriting for every project. It wraps a broker's REST and streaming APIs behind one interface, and handles the parts that only show up in production: expired tokens at midday, reconnect storms after a network blip, sockets that stay open while the data has gone stale, and retries that quietly double a position.

What is inside

  • Auth manager — login, token refresh, feed-token rotation, and a single point of failure handling.
  • Streaming client — subscription management, backoff on reconnect, a single-socket guarantee so a restart cannot leave two consumers alive.
  • Quote cache — last price with an age stamp, so your strategy can refuse to act on stale data.
  • Order layer — client-generated IDs, safe retries, status polling, partial-fill handling and a normalised error taxonomy.
  • Paper adapter — the same interface backed by a CSV or a live quote feed, for dry runs before you touch the live key.

What it is not

It is not a strategy and it makes no trading decisions. It is the plumbing layer beneath your strategy, sold as developer tooling. Adapting it to your specific broker's endpoints is straightforward and documented; we also do that as a paid engagement if you would rather not.
